Elizabeth Hammock - Textile Artist
My work is made entirely by hand, solely with natural plant and animal fibers that are left undyed in their original state. My practice researches the intersection of woven and knit - both separately and together as a single cloth of two structures.
I explore textural interactions, material combinations, zero-waste design practice, and what it means to be in relation with cloth over a lifetime and beyond: to return home to the soil or be kept as an heirloom.
Original Works are available via inquiry — a limited number each year.
